These are pictures taken since moving to Monroe, Louisiana. I married
Julia Guernsey-Shaw in July 1999 and we have a son, Christopher Eugene Shaw
who was born November 10, 2000. Julia works at the University of Louisiana
at Monroe and I was a visiting Professor of Physics at Centenary College
for a year before taking a position at the Louisiana School for Math, Science,
and the Arts.
Most of the images here are of Christopher and the inhabitants, I hesitate
to call them pets, of our house in Monroe. Athena is the stray dog who adopted
us and Herbert and Opal are the two cats.
