Course Goals:
Physics 310 is a year long calculus-based course in university physics. The course emphasizes problem solving skills and applications of mathematics to physics.

Prerequisites:
Calculus is a prerequisite for this course - students should be familiar with differential calculus at the level of calculus I and be concurrently enrolled in  or have finished integral calculus at the level of calculus II. Some experience with vectors is useful, but the basics of vector manipulation is developed in class.
