Course Goals:
Physics 250 is a year long algebra-based course in college physics. The emphasis in the course will be on the ideas and concepts in elementary physics; however we will also stress applying these principles to solve problems. Teaching  the AP test is not the goal of the course, but we do cover topics that will be on the AP test.

Trigonometry is a prerequisite for this course - students should be familiar with interpreting graphs, algebra, and properties of elementary functions (especially trigonometric functions). Some experience with vectors is useful, but the basics of vector manipulation is developed in class as the class proceeds.
