As an undergraduate I studied classical mechanics, quantum mechanics, and applied mathematics. In graduate school I worked with Dr. John Delos doing semiclassical calculations of atomic systems, "quantum chaos."  This led to a Ph.D. and, eventually, to my present job as a teacher of physics.  While a postdoc, I got to travel more than I do now and eventually  I'll put up more pictures from New Mexico, Amsterdam, and Vienna.

I've also been, from time to time, serious about my own photography:

• Art School Photography  these were mostly taken in my late teens in Pittsburgh
• Astrophotography Astronomy was a major obsession when I was growing up (though I didn't get to play with really nice equipment until I started graduate school).
• Travel Photography Amsterdam photographs and, eventually, other places: like the Texas Renaissance festival .
• Digital Work Monroe, Louisiana (mostly)
• Recent Photos Black and white and color work
