This is Schmidt camera photograph roughly centered on NGC 7635, the "Bubble"
nebula, near the Cassiopeia-Cepheus border. North is to the left in this image.
The bright star cluster
below left of center is M52. NGC 7635 is just above it to the right, the
slightly fan shaped bright region. Some catalogs list 7635 as a planetary, but
this is a questionable classification. Burnham's Celestial Handbook has a nice large-scale photograph of 7635 showing its structure. The
bright, almost starlike, nebula up and to the left of 7635 is NGC 7538.
