Astronomical Photographs

After many years I'm going to change these pages. The original web site was created when I moved to Auburn University from William and Mary in 1995. Photos taken at William and Mary were scanned on a flatbed scanner in the Auburn University astronomy lab.

The Schmidt photos have held up over time, but most of the planetary images are poor by today's standards. I can do and have done much better. I hope to show more photos like this one which was taken with newer digital equipment:
